Cappadocia is beautiful year-round, but April to June and September to November offer the best weather for balloon flights and outdoor activities. Summer (July-August) can be hot, while winteroffers a magical snow-covered landscape with fewer tourists.
Hot air balloon rides in Cappadocia range from €150 to €300 per person depending on the package. Standard flights last about 1 hour, while deluxe flights offer longer airtime andsmaller basket sizes for a more exclusive experience.
We recommend at least 2-3 days to experience the highlights: a balloon ride, the Red Tour (north), and the Green Tour (south). For a more relaxed trip with hiking and activities, 4-5 days isideal.
Cappadocia has two airports: Nevşehir (NAV) and Kayseri (ASR). Both have daily flights from Istanbul (1 hour). We offer airport transfer services from both airports to your hotel in Göreme, Uçhisar, orÜrgüp.

Cappadocia is one of the safest tourist destinations in Turkey. The local community is welcoming and tourism-friendly. Standard travel precautions apply, but violent crime is extremely rare.
Balloon flights are weather-dependent and can be cancelled due to wind conditions. We recommend booking at least 2-3 days in advance, especially during peak season (April-October). Last-minutebookings are possible but subject to availability.
Wear comfortable walking shoes (the terrain is uneven), layers for temperature changes, and sunscreen. For balloon rides, dress warmly as it’s cooler at altitude. Modest clothing is appreciated whenvisiting mosques or religious sites.
